What We Help With:
Stress Management
If you’re finding that stress is getting to you, your family, your friend group, or even to your employees, let us help! Please contact us to see if we can help you work through the stress.
Problem-Solving Skills
Sometimes, there’s nothing can prepare us for what life throws our way. If you find yourself overwhelmed with problems or feel that you need assistance in working through the problems coming your way, our problem-solving skills seminar may be just what you need to help you learn how to put problems into perspective and work through them at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
Anger Management
Anger is often seen as a “negative” emotion. It can, however, be a motivating emotion that helps us get things done and leads us to action. It’s all about how we recognize and channel the anger that comes up for us. Our anger management seminar helps clients learn how to recognize the triggers for our anger and how anger feels in our bodies, and how to manage these triggers and emotions. Give us a call if you feel this seminar may help!
Relationship Skills
Like so many skills, relationship skills are often something we think we’re doing well but sometimes, even though we’re doing our best, our relationships might still be struggling. Our relationship skills course offers insights into how to work through conflict, seek out relationships, or improve the relationships we already have.
Mood Management
If either you or someone you love has told you that you’re “moody,” this course might be for you! Learn how to recognize and manage your moods as they arise for you, and learn what triggers your moods.
Assertiveness Training
Assertiveness is not just about getting your point across or making sure your voice is heard. It’s about recognizing your perspective, recognizing and valuing another’s perspective, and working with them to find a good outcome to the conflict you’re working through. If you feel that you or perhaps a family or employment dyad or group may need help with assertiveness, give us a call!
Combating Peer Pressure
This course is often paired with individual treatment for individuals struggling with substance use. This seminar can be offered for those who require assistance combating peer pressure – whether it’s peer pressure around substance use or other issues – and will assist learners in recognizing and overcoming peer pressure using principles associated with assertiveness and boundary-setting.
Drugs & Alcohol Education
Courses in relapse prevention are generally offered as part of the group therapy component for individuals struggling with substance use.
For individuals or families who are looking to better understand a loved one who is struggling with substance use, please give us a call! We can assess whether a seminar or individual therapy may be the best fit for you.
Smoking Cessation
For individuals who are struggling to kick a smoking habit, this seminar may be for you! This seminar offers psychotherapy-based interventions that may be able to help you put cigarettes on the shelf for good.
If you’re interested in smoking cessation treatment, please call us! We can assess whether a seminar or individual therapy may be the best fit for you.
